Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort Wayne and South Bend, Inc.
Grant supports the Hispanic Health Advocate program, which provides a certified medical interpreter to Spanish speaking individuals to assist with transportation and interpretation for medical appointments. The Hispanic Health Advocate also connects individuals to resources for basic needs such as food, employment, housing supports, etc.
The Isaiah 1:17 Project
Grant supports the Dream Cycle Program which provides a bicycle for every child in foster care who has applied, even for adaptive bikes for children with unique abilities.
Jay County Conservation Club / A Better Life - Briana’s Hope
Grant supports a program that gives out family memberships to individuals in substance abuse recovery, providing them with use of the conservation area and the many activities including hiking, fishing, and bird watching.
First Baptist Church North Indianapolis
Grant supports a robust faith organization database used to reach out to over 150 churches, temples, and synagogues County. Information is shared to promote the importance of children’s immunizations. This is a community education initiative to help reduce increasing cases of measles, polio, and other childhood diseases.
Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic
Grant supports this clinic that offers free legal services and assistance for 700 individuals regarding their housing-related needs through direct legal representation and through legal navigation services.
